This vibrant print is a quote from the book The Prophet (1923) on love and keeping a healthy level of space with loved ones which rang true to our current reality as well. The background is printed using split fountain, a technique of the mixing the colors organically on press, so each print is unique and slightly varies from the next.

This print also comes with a complimentary 5x7" halftone letterpress printed photo of the machine that made it (essentially a Heidelberg selfie!)

Print size is 8.5"x11" printed on 110lb blush colored paper (100% cotton)

Full Passage: “Let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.” Khalil Gebran

(This handmade product is letterpress printed using a vintage 1950s Original Heidelberg Windmill machine that was restored and brought back to life. Letterpress is a very old form of printing that involves hand mixing and manual printing of ink so a slight variance in color between prints may occur, we like to call it unique character) Stay connected: Instagram: @the961collective Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/the961collective/ Website: www.the961collective.com
