This letterpress print was made using Lego pieces (Yes Lego!) and printed on a restored Heidelberg Windmill Press. The background was inspired by the funky floor tile patterns of old houses in Beirut and the text reads "Layali Beirut" which translates to "Nights in Beirut" inspired by the magical evenings often spent on balconies with family and friends. (Each print also comes with a 5x7" halftone letterpress printed photo of the machine that made it, essentially a Heidelberg selfie!)
Print (unframed) is 8.5"x11" on 110lb blush paper (100% cotton)
Free local pick up from (44114) is also available send me a message for curbside pick up. For pictures and videos of the process feel free to check out Instagram @THE961COLLECTIVE

(This handmade product is letterpress printed using a vintage 1950s Original Heidelberg Windmill machine that was restored and brought back to life. Letterpress is a very old form of printing that involves hand mixing and manual printing of ink so a slight variance in color between prints may occur, we like to call it unique character) Stay connected: Instagram: @the961collective Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/the961collective/ Website: www.the961collective.com
