About the event
In conversation with the Cleveland Museum of Art’s exhibition Fairy Tales and Fables: Illustration and Storytelling in Art, Shadi Ayoub brings the exhibition to life through a live print demo and Q&A. This event is part of the monthly "Artist in the Atrium" program where artists showcase their work and interact with the public providing visitors a chance to engage directly with them, learn about their creative processes, and explore the connections between traditional and contemporary art forms.
During this event visitors will get to:
- Learn about letterpress printing and techniques discovering the intricacies of this traditional craft
- Explore print samples, learn about the versatility of print as a medium and the possibilities it offers whether practically or artistically
- Create prints using a letterpress machine and take home some fun goodies!
